Come down to Kockelscheuer this weekend for Fest vun der Natur by natur&ëmwelt!

This annual festival is focused on the nature and the environment, and features over 50 stands with local and organic products, sustainable businesses, artisans and fun activities for all ages. The festival runs from Saturday, June 18th from 2:00pm-6:00pm to Sunday, June 19th from 10:00am-6:00pm. You can get there by bike on PC1, by bus 18 (stop: Kockelscheuer, Patinoire) or by car to Kockelscheuer P&R.

At the Neighbour Magazine x The Green Library stand you’ll be able to pick up a copy of Issue 1 or 2, or even a gift certificate for a friend, find a great secondhand book, and take part in an exciting nature DIY workshop led by Kate Shirley (@kate_wildfreedom).

SATURDAY

Introduction to wild foraging

Come foraging with me! Explore the wild plants growing in abundance & learn the many ways they can help us. Make a foraged herbal tea or herbal vinegar. Explore other ways to use these medicinal & magical plants.

Dandelion & daffodil cordage 

Learn how to make your own ‘rope’ from dried plants or make them into a totally unique bracelet.

3:30-4:30pm

Biodegradable air dry clay prints

Make homemade air dry clay decorations with pressed leaf printed onto the clay 

4:30-5:30pm

SUNDAY

Woodland pens and paintbrushes 10:15-11:15am

Make your own artistic tools! Whittle your own pen and chew your own paintbrush!  

Charcoal ink & pens 11:15-12:15pm

Learn how to make charcoal sticks, holders and make your own ink. 

Luxembourgish egg tempura paint 12:15-1:15pm

Make egg tempura paint from Luxembourgish stones!
